Committee Types

General Assembly (GA)

General Assembly committees follow traditional Model UN procedures with structured debate, resolution writing, and formal voting. These committees are excellent for beginners as they provide a clear framework and allow delegates to learn parliamentary procedure at a comfortable pace. Both beginners and intermediate delegates will find GAs engaging and rewarding.

Recommended for: First-time delegates and those building foundational MUN skills

Crisis Committee

Crisis committees are fast-paced, dynamic simulations where delegates respond to evolving scenarios in real-time. Delegates write directives, engage in backroom deals, and adapt to unexpected developments. While Crisis committees are beginner-friendly and our chairs will support new delegates, they move more quickly than GAs and require quick thinking and adaptability.

Recommended for: All experience levels, especially those who enjoy dynamic, fast-paced debate
